Numbers help us glimpse a greater universe normally shielded from our small brains that have not evolved to comprehend fully the mathematical fabric of the universe. Higher mathematical discussions are a little like poetry. Danish physicist Niels Bohr felt similarly about physics when he said, "We must be clear that, when it comes to atoms, language can be used only as in poetry.'"
